You can select one or multiple
scenes to appear in Aquatica 3D.

choose one from the selected scenes the next time the
screen saver is activated. If you only want to display
one particular scene, only select that scene and deselect
the rest. |

select a scene
- Press the Scenery
button
- Select the scene
you would like to display
- Press OK

|
|
|
| Scale factor |
| |
Each scene
has a scale parameter and a perspective parameter. The
scale parameter does not scale the scene itself, but
will zoom the 3D camera for that particular scene in
and out, making the fish appear larger or smaller.
In addition there is a perspective parameter, this
will make some fish appear closer than others giving
you the illusion of distance but will also have an effect
on the Scale parameter, so you will need to adjust the
scale and the perspective sliders until you have the
depth of field to your liking. All scale parameters
in Aquatica 3D are relative to each other. |
| |
To scale a scene
- Press the Scenery
button
- Select the scene
you would like to scale
- Press the Properties
button
- Select Scale
factor and adjust the slider
- Press OK
to save your changes.
Hint: Scaling scenery too much will make
the fish swim through scenery objects and not around
them |

| Scene perspective
(Zoom) |
| |
| The perspective parameter will
make some fish appear closer or further away to each other
than others giving you the illusion of distance or closeness.
If the value slider on the perspective parameter is at
0, it will give the impression that the fish are swimming
close up (as though inside a small fish tank). If it is
set to 100, they will swim far into the distance (as if
they were swimming in the ocean). The perspective parameter
will have an effect on the scale parameter, so you will
need to keep adjusting the scale and the perspective sliders
until you have the desired depth of field. |
